Climbing Mt Cook during Lockdown

In the weekend. I climbed a hill 18 times to match the height of Mt Cook.

I started off each day at 07.00. I took two whole days. My sister took one whole day and did one of her laps in the dark.

I slid out of bed at 06.45 in the morning. I slouched down the hallway, my legs as jiggly as jelly. I slowly started running. I climbed over the fence and jumped

off. I started off and started my way up the first hill in pain. I looked up at the dead sheep on the post, who didn't quite make it. I slowly slobbed down the hill in a tired mood.

The hill was as steep as a cliff that a goat could climb. The sheep were as fast as racing dirt bikes. I cross a patch of mud, I step into it and it makes a big brown patch on my shoe.

The hill climbs became harder and harder until at last I just had two more. One more by myself and then everybody came with me. My last lap was the best with everyone.

That's another lockdown mission completed. Horrendous high hills. My legs were as slack as a boxer in a tournament.

Will you ever do anything like this during lockdown?
